Project overview
Schellgaden is a gold-tungsten project. Schellgaden North and Schellgaden South are grouped as one project covering 74 km2 across 157 exploration licences.
The project is geographically separate from the priority Kreuzeck-Goldeck gold-antimony corridor. It is a historical gold district with underground workings, stacked quartz-sulphide lodes withgold-silver-lead-copper are reported with some tungsten metal association. Scheelite has been reported, but tungsten distribution, grade continuity and recoverability have not been sufficiently quantified by modern work.
Location and access
Schellgaden is on the eastern margin of the Tauern Window in central Austria, within a historical mining district spanning parts of Salzburg and Carinthia. Principal historical mine areas and occurrences include Stublbau, Schulterbau, Knappenstube and related workings.
The project is in rugged alpine terrain. Regional access is available through alpine valleys, local roads, forestry tracks and nearby settlements.
Geological setting and target areas
Schellgaden is hosted by the Kareck-Storz sequence, within the Habach geological framework. Historical workings exploited multiple stacked, shallowly dipping to sub-horizontal quartz-sulphide lodes, historically called “Lager”.
Current target concepts focus on the geometry and continuity of named lode horizons and on identifying intact mineralised panels outside or beneath historical stopes. Stublbau and Schulterbau are the best-known historical mining areas in the prospectus. Tungsten is treated as a geological and analytical component of the gold-focused system.
Exploration status and proposed work
Schellgaden programs will be worked subject to data, access, permitting and target-readiness requirements. Before drilling, historical and modern information would need to be compiled and checked, mine voids modelled, and intact lode positions selected.
Project status notice
Historical production statements, grades, channel samples, exploration targets, drill summaries and resource-style figures are retained only as historical context and target-generation information unless independently verified and reported under the applicable code.
